A Rainy Night

So, for starters I've been debating on blogging for a while now, but wasn't sure if I had anything to say worth reading. Every time I thought about a topic to blog about, mostly what came to mind was sports. However, after deciding to turn down a chance to sit in the rain at a high school football game tonight, I turned the TV off, opened up iTunes, turned on some Dave Barnes, opened Mitch Albom's new book Have a Little Faith, and began to read. If you don't know of Dave Barnes and/or Mitch Albom, I suggest you introduce yourself to both shortly. For the first time in a while, I was enjoying myself while doing something simple. And enjoying the little things, if you will, gave me some type of inspiration to be creative and express myself, so here we are. Like I said before, I'm not sure I have much to say worth reading, but maybe, just maybe, one night in a semi-lit room with a book, and iTunes will continue to give me a reason to express myself through this blog.
